In 1998, a small team of five people set out on a journey with one simple hope: to help Indonesian families get out of poverty through opportunity, not just aid. From the first step Full of this belief, the Dian Mandiri Foundation grew into a large movement involving more than 250 dedicated staff, serving more than 40,000 offenders micro businesses throughout Indonesia.
DIMAN stands to be an asset to the local community, the place where they are who work in the informal sector can finally access lasting support this is difficult for them to get. With 82% of Indonesia's workforce in the sector informally, many of them cannot obtain formal financial services due to limited documents or collateral.
Seeing these challenges up close, DIMAN took a practical approach and caring: Assist Through Actions. Not waiting for change, but moving with the community.
When their businesses grow, families become more stable. When families strengthen, communities become more resilient. And when communities grow, hope spreads even further.
These values are not just principles, but a compass that guides how we work, serve, and build trust in every community.
At the Dian Mandiri Foundation, we believe that transformation begins with small steps taken with sincerity, consistency, and together.
We walk side by side with micro business owners, families, and communities to create opportunities that last across generations.
